I like this not. No matter how the images are merged together a symbol of ultimate destruction can never be the same as a symbol of such primal life

Took me a second to realise the bottom half was not simply black and white of the tree. Then it broke my brain for a second. No, make that still breaking my brain. My mind can't mesh the two. I could understand it to represent both life and death, creation and destruction, blah blah blah I was raised by an artistic family and it shows.. but it still hurts to look at it.
