It's good to see that the last two decades have not led to any unwarranted changes in the Henry Jones Junior School Of Archaeological Thought.

"This is five thousand years old! It's totally priceless! This is an irreplacable treasure, our only remnant of an age otherwise forever lost! And look what happens when I hit it with this rock!"

Nahhhhh. Indiana Jones meets the 50s!

It wasn't as good as The Last Crusade, I thought, but it was fun.

I'd rate it as better than Temple of Doom, but not as good as Last Crusade.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is still number 1.

prk.

Better than Raiders and MUCH better than Temple, not as good as Crusade.

People always rag on Temple, but it was a great movie all the way up until you actually SEE the underground.

Temple was a crappy movie from the minute Short Round appeared on screen until the minute he died.

And he didn't die.

And he wasn't the sole reason it was crap.

What? No love for for the Pincers of Peril man himself?!?! Blasphemy! Agreed, "Temple of Doom" is my least favorite too but it's not all bad. Honestly though, I'd say the weakest link in TOD was Kate Capshaw. That woman bothered me to no end. I was praying the elephant would turn carnivore and devour her in that movie.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who like Crusade more than Raiders.

+1

I never really got why Raiders was supposed to be such a classic - it had great moments, but kinda dragged, while Last Crusade was just awesome throughout.
