Wow. His work is incredibly surreal and powerful. Not sure I was ready to check out his gallery before morning coffee, but some really strong stuff there. Thanks for showing this.
It took me a moment to realise what the line was. At first I thought it was a silver line or something. Then I wondered if it was a tear in the painting. THEN I realised he painted it to look like he's cutting out of the painting.
I am a TERRIBLE person... I looked at that and thought 1) Why would anyone cut such a lovely painting? and then 2) strike that HE's cutting HIMSELF out of he painting, and 3) was...
Oooh- LOVE that fabric! I wonder where I can get something like that- it would be PERFECT for that gown I want to make!
