This makes me think of Rammstein backed by Cirque du Soleil's band.

do you have more of Das Ich's stuff, or would you like it? I have a few of their albums I can dig up.

I've got just about everything Das Ich has ever done.

But thanks!

So you're looking for similar sounding bands?

Those would be good. It just struck me that I really like Re Animat, and I don't have a lot that sounds like that except Das Ich.

I've got some stuff, and I'll be packing later this week for some DJing gigs in Haifa and Tel Aviv, so I've got to be selective, so I'll try to grab some names for you.

Sweet. Thanks!

(I've got a wide selection of music. I just find that every time I ask this, with an example MP3, I get at least a half-dozen I've never heard of)

For a fan of Das Ich, I'll do one better.

If that doesn't do the trick, say so and I'll actually dig through my collection. I had the day from hell today, and am not motivated to move :/

Err... Let me retract that. I'm sorely disappointed in LP's performance in this case. Instead, I offer http://www.gnod.net

Have you tried Heimataerde or Reaper? They're the top two hits I got from iTunes based on "people who bought Das Ich also bought". Very similar, but a touch more aggressive beat wise.

Three great places to find music:

Second for Pandora -- it's really good at finding music that feels like the stuff you like. I assume it's magic. Or demons.

IP-based restrictions are *so* 2004.

(By which I mean, there are ways around them. Not even difficult ways, usually)

I first found das ich from Real Synthetic Audio :
http://synthetic.org/
and went WHAT IS THIS AWESOME STUFF!

To find out what you like, try listening to his weeky shows, you get a sample of everything out there that way

This is how i discovered stuff like covenant, blutengal, wolfsheim, assemblage23, and all the other EBM out there..

The sort of thing he plays has changed a lot in the last few years. A great way to get the gist of it is to listen to the last show of each year, tends to be the 'best of', i totally recommend the best of 2004 mix, my fav show of his ever - 12/27/2004

Feindflug. Unheilig. Eisbrecher (the first, self titled album, not their second release - the second one is all heavy metal BS). Wumpscut. Panzer Ag. Combichrist.

I love Das Ich.
