Neither did I. It's like watching the group of kids playing basketball and having to count how many times they pass the ball - you completely miss the guy in the gorilla suit the first six times you watch it.
White pickup in the next lane slows down slightly. White car behind *it* is invisible at the time of the crossing, but doesn't come out from behind the pickup the way we'd expect it to. It definitely slowed down, since it was passing the pickup at a good clip before the light.
Red car turning the corner hits the brakes pretty hard, too, but it was going to stop there anyway. It's hard to tell if it was reacting or not.
That's because in most of the movie, everything keeps moving at about a consistant rate. Slowing down doesn't look like more than slowing down in stop-and-go traffic. Also it whizzes through so fast, you could blink and miss it.
It doesn't matter how many times I see that... the car whizzing across and managing NOT to hit anything causes my abdomen to tense up until he's passed through. I even KNOW he won't hit anything but my brain still mentally expects that it could happen.
Which is okay, I guess. I'd rather tense up were I to see something similar in real life.
I hope that person driving that car has since been in a wreckage where no one was hurt but them. It's too much to hope for, I know.
Wow, I missed it the first few times thru, but when I finally saw that car sail thru...wow, I almost couldn't believe it! I don't think that little car slowed down even after sailing thru the intersection. Pure crazy, thank goodness no one was hurt (and those people in the cross walk! I would have just pooped.)
Fake? Never been to California, have you. The drivers here are insane. I've been in some near misses and seen some near misses pretty much like this one. I'll be surprised if this is a fake.

His sphincter must have tightened up
a couple of notches when he hit the breaks.
