That looks almost exactly like the cat from Alro and Janis.

Wow.. he's only slightly larger than my own kitty. :) I wouldn't want to be pulled by the throat, either. :( Cats != dogs.

Add some stripes and subtract an ear and it's Yanaglatchey! Who also does not want to go for a walk.

I can't help but think that the next few pictures are of the guy getting mauled.

Kitty does not want to move as fast. IF kitty really did not want to go for walk we would be treated to a picture of "crippled kitty syndrome" when they lay down and refuse to get up. I have heard of cats doing this for several mins over different surfaces. Also - that collar is big enough for the cat to escape if it wanted to.

Is kitty a puma or panther...? The thing is frickin' huge(or the person is really small and soon to be a snack).

Looks like a panther. The collar and leash are way too small in comparison to it's size for it to be a camera trick - that is DEFINITELY not a housecat.

Note! Panther (Panthera) is a genus, not a species, which includes leopards, jaguars, cougars, lions, and tigers.

It is also a common name for the black variant of the leopard, cougar or jaguar. The cougar/puma/mountain lion are generally speaking the same animal.

Ya, I'm probably too into big cats. And taxonomy.

But short answer: possibly, and yes.
