The face is distorted, the nose is unreal, the fur does not look real and neither does the spool of thread. The whole thing looks not real, like a Bateman painting (see icon). I mean it's realistic, but if you inspect closely you can tell it's not real.

It's not a spool of thread, it's a film canister. Also, the cat looks to be within the allowable parameters of cat-ness to me.
