I remember reading somewhere about a study done about combination of items that sold the best and putting them close for convenience. The study in question had found that the item most often purchased with diapers was beer. I did a couple quick searches and couldn't find anything, but the gist was that the husband had been sent out to pick up diapers and decided to pick up something to help deal with the stress of not sleeping.
Sigh - I never got a photo of the "automotive catfood" aisle at the Pathmark. I need to get a photo of the Home Depot "Hardware / ferreteria" aisle of shiny things :-)
