That was by an Australian Beatles tribute band called The Beatnix, performing for a talk show called The Money Or The Gun. Each week the show had a band performing Stairway To Heaven in it's own style (40s swing, punk, reggae, techno, rock, etc.) Even Rolf Harris had a hit with this.

The show produced an album called Stairways To Heaven.

I showed that to my dad, who is both a HUGE Led Zeppelin fan and old enough to have actually seen The Beatles on TV. The look on his face was a thing of rare beauty.

Years ago, my brother gave me an album of Zepplin covers titled "The Song Retains The Name." Had half of those covers been as good as that, I would feel badly that I have no idea where that album is today.

The best track there was a rap version of "Black Dog."
