This is Tigger. "He is a neutered 3 year old Queensland Heeler Mix. He's about 50 pounds and is currently at the Contra Costa County Shelter in Martinez California. He could be mixed with rottie or lab or mastiff or pit as he is pretty bulky in size and taller than your average heeler. He is the sweetest dog.

Tigger is smart, athletic, energetic, loving and playful. He likes to sit with his head in your lap. He needs an experienced dog owner as his intelligence is likely to get you both in trouble if you don't know what to do. He knows basic commands but needs some leash training (a gentle leader or sensible harness would do him wonders) and when he gets excited (like when he sees people he loves) he gets a bit jumpy but settles down fast.

He's passed a temperament test with flying colors and is a little overweight at the moment."
