It's still a pretty sweet pistol. I hope he doesn't stop his production plans just because he failed in his silly quest to force the government to subsidize gun sales to the disabled.
Guns + arthritis just doesn't seem like a good idea except for actual moments of self-defense. I'd think the recoil would just potentially make things worse for already injured bones and joints.
