"When God created the arse, he didnt just say "Its just your basic hinge, lets knock off early". No, he said "Behold the Arse. For centuries to come, people will grab onto this and call my name."
Uh, yeah. Gonna have to agree with the sign on technicalities, and your response to it in ways that count.
(Well okay, to be inappropriately serious for a bit: it may not count, but at least some of the time it really does. And FWIW, I consider the clitoris to be evidence that God really wants humans to enjoy sex. (Not good scientific evidence, of course, but speaking in the context of being a Christian who already believes in the existence of (and certain characteristics of) God for non-scientific reasons, I see a compelling theological argument within that context for God wanting us (at least the women anyhow) to enjoy sex.)) There are many things which, if done 'right' (for a context-dependent meaning of 'right') bring one closer to God, or enhance one's appreciation of Him and His works; in this case it can simultaneously strengthen emotional bonds with one's partner. So yes, from a Christian perspective sex can be a holy act, and whether you were being sincere or snarky or some lovably perverse combination of the two, I'm inclined to agree with your criticism of the sign.)
