when i was a kid my sister and i caught a bunch of flies and microwaved them. most died quickly, but one simply refused to die, lasting a long, long time. we set it free with reverence and some fear. we were messed up children.

OK. After reading the article, it was part of some kind of experiment. I thought they found one in hard vaccum on the shell of the space station. I am less impressed now.
