Actually, I did know what he looked like, because his picture was on the back of my copy of Dayworld.

This is so weird because just a few weeks ago I was looking him up on Wikipedia and I was like "Wow, he's pretty old, I didn't know that he was that old. Cool that he's still alive, though."

I'm sad now. :(
