EC is warning that the temperature will drop 15 degrees within the next hour. Those two days of unseasonable, barely tolerable temperatures and rain? Are going to freeze solid.

Joy.

All the Americanism.... 1% of the guns?

More guns, actually. Just fewer crazy people.

But... the crazy people are why we *need* the guns.

It figures that the guy who works for EC didn't realize this in time to avoid the _hail_.

Can I get 3 "typical" Canadian beverages that might be available in the states? My roommate wants a Canadian-themed party.

Coffee, preferably from Tim Hortons if possible (it's not good, but it's authentic).
Moosehead if you want beer

Having a hard time thinking of anything terribly "Typical" in terms of beverages. The whole north American homogenization makes things hard that way.

"The Baby Seal" - Canadian Club on the rocks!

More seriously: Hmm. Beer. Strong, usually pale beer. Moosehead, in particular - not that it's really iconic, as much as an amusingly named brand that I know you can get in Illinois. Molson Canadian or Labatt Blue if you like cheap and not very good (the former) or downright terrible Budweiser-ish (the latter) beer.

Maybe Canadian Club and Canada Dry ginger-ale, though I wouldn't swear by it as a mix and (aside from the names) it's not terribly reflective of the Great White North.

-- Steve could, of course, also suggest the stereotypical Molson Canadian but he's much a big fan of that brand of beer. (Though it is actually common.) Moosehead's better, though.

Orange Peoke Tea? Apparently only Canadians are foolish enough to drink the stuff. I personally hate it, but.

Just wish I had realized it BEFORE I left the house an hour and a half ago, only to be shocked by stepping outside. Looks like a good weekend to stay home!

I had the joy of walking between my house and campus multiple times today, between 7:30am and 6:00pm.

The weather is, indeed, balls.
