Dear fanfic writer and publisher: You are stupid. Really, really stupid. Stephanie Meyers is an imbecile, a psycho cultist, and a terrible writer, and you've made me cheer for her and her cult to beat you senseless.

She owns the characters from Twilight. Hell, the last book didn't come out that long ago. the corpse is still warm for crying out loud.
For the record, I thought Twilight was okay. She's not a great author, but not nearly as bad as most people think. But she IS a member of a psycho cult and wimp.
(however, watch the extras on the Twilight DVD and you'll like her a lot more when you compare her to the director of that movie, who I want to hit with a truck).

I seriously doubt that this is the next Star Wars, or even the next LeStat.
Criswell Predicts that within a decade at most, these fang-ridden Harlequin Romances will be wholly devoured and digested by the Ogre Noyamotyo, and buried under several strata in the Cesspool of Cultural Detritus. Their legions of ardent fans will largely vanish, most of them denying, even to themselves, any memory of reading the stories or seeing the movie.
