It's a worthwhile read, if only to recognize how silly people look when they quote it in the context of zombie movies.
Also, I love that the person who breaks the rules does his penance and goes on with his life, while his fellow sailors die to a man despite having done nothing wrong. "For the dear God who loveth us, He made and loveth all," my ass.
