Was that taken through an IR filter?

Asking the photoheads in the crowds, as I do not expect the Weaseled one to know.

But I *do* know, and yes, in fact, it was.

AWESOME...

some people don't remember that we only got airborne about a hundred years ago.

we went from powered flight to landing on the moon in about 50 years.

heck... we put men on the moon in a tin can powered by a Casio calculator.

and people don't realize that 1 in 10 attempts to go to space explodes in our faces.

imagine that. 1 in 10 time you get in a car it explodes...

space flight is a miracle in our time.

Isn't it cool!?!

My husband remembers, (barely,) watching the moon landing with his grandfather. His grandfather said, "Yes, I remember all the fuss about Orville and Wilbur."

66 years.

Still awesome, but a decade and a half is significant in the time scale we're talking about.
