Dammit! I cannot WAIT to be able to use a firestaff. I spin Poi and breathe fire, but I haven't gotten a firestaff or meteor hammer yet. le sigh.

From a purely technical point of view, that's a gorgeous animation. Love how smooth it is. (Almost 4 megs? Well, that answers why. :D)

I have a freind who performed with a staff much like that, and another who used a fire hoop, at my wedding last year, it was amazing.

Is it actually a staff? it looks kind of like a scythe or a pick or something on the end.

The spin over the back of the right hand worries me. Having a flaming staff that you aren't actually holding on to, even if only for a tiny fraction of a second, is scary.
