One of the few that doesn't work for me, as the effect seems strongest to me when I can envision the critter moving smoothly forward horizontally in its pictured posture, but the position of the obstacle makes it clear that this has to specifically be a leap, not cruising flight and not even a conveniently timed shot of regular running. So the "whee -- airborne!" effect is there, but the "hoverbeastie" effect isn't. For me.
