My first guess would be something having to do with the war against the Chtorr series (http://fantasy.gamberi.org/wp-content/wow_chtorr3.jpg), but even I don't really believe that's it. Second guess is "what will those wacky japaness think of next?"

Then I follow the link and find out I'm wrong on both counts.

I do think that's probably what that is.

Everyone knows rust monsters, shambling mounds and shocker lizards are the way to go.

My wife used to have a crippling fear of balloons - she couldn't be around them for fear that one of them would suddenly burst. You could tell who was a close friend of her's because they'd go into a room with one or more balloons in, and immediately look around to see if Cleodhna was anywhere near.

So, when my Best Man was planning my stag night, he booked a balloon animal guy so I'd learn the first steps of a skill that I could only ever use if I divorced my wife :-).

(Then after we were married he cured her of the phobia, more or less, because as well as having a sick sense of humour he's also a psychiatrist. But I repeat myself.)
