Oh, an LJ desktop client, gotcha. I thought you meant an FTP desktop client, which didn't make sense for a couple reasons. I could never see the point in those, but I joined Livejournal after the web update thing was working, so yeah.
That pointy muzzle and chop licking pose is definitely Chuck Jones material. I can practically hear the sloppy lip-smacking-licking in anticipation of a yummy supper!
That was my initial thought, but it seems way too skinny for a tanuki. My guess is african civet (http://www.animalpicturesarchive.com/view.php?tid=3&did=7887).
