It does take some getting used to, especially the first few episodes of the series. But the characters really do grow on you after a while.

That being said: Start late and work back. Accept that Sheldon is an idiot, that's part of the humour. It's very much worth giving a second chance to.

(And if the second chance fails, well, you're defective and I suppose that might be okay.)

All I remember was that the two guys' interactions with each other and with the lady at the front desk was spectacularly unfunny. Like, I can see where the jokes are, I can see where they want me to laugh, but it was not clicking for me at all.
