Huh. That's funny, fruitbats look soft and fuzzy (with those adorable big eyes and ears). And admitedly that cute sort of helpless on the ground. Vampire bats are the cute sort of hop-skip awkward on the ground, but knowing that they like to prey on humans and the hop-skip is well adapted for sneaking up on us sort of ameleorates that.
Gah, didn't finish the sentance "... look soft and fuzzy to me." Kind of critical that, as I wasn't trying to say your interpretation was Hurting Wrong.
Did you just drag yourself, kicking and screaming, into the century of the fruitbat? If not, i suggest posting it again after kicking and screaming a bit, just for effect.
If anyone's looking for a good baby-toddler-preschooler book for Christmas, may I suggest Stellaluna (http://www.amazon.ca/Stellaluna-Janell-Cannon/dp/0152802177), in light of this post.
