(She's spent the last four days with my mother, running my brother's Pointer puppy ragged and annoying ym mother's 15+ y/o Lab/Boxer cross. She finally came home with us, to discover warm bed, place in front of the fireplace, and... BONE! bone bone bone bone bone bone bone bone bone bone bone bone...)
We gave our dogs smoked kangaroo bones for Christmas. Whuich they promptly buried and came abck inside to wait under the table for such scraps as surely 13 people would provide them with :)
When I was little, we had a lhasa apso mix that just loved to chew on bones, so my dad got her one of those. She looked at the bone, looked at my dad, sat down, and started making the most pitiful noises you ever heard. It was too big for her to get her mouth around.
