In the UK, the NHS is funding "Reparative Prayer Therapy" to "cure" gays.

Being a mostly sane country, the fact that the NHS is funding the amentalism is being treated as scandalous and the licensing organisations have started practices to de-license the participants.

Finally, something the right-wing Republicans can agree on that's good about the NHS.

Shame most of us Brits are generally thinking "WTF?!". But you can see how it happens. It's not as if doctors are actively vetting who they refer their clients to. They're probably just glad to get them off their books...

The article seems to imply it's a deliberate referral technique, not the fault of the NHS per say, but rather a way to get 4 free treatments they shouldn't be getting.

I expect a Daily Mail headline of GAYS STEAL NHS MONEY FOR FAKE THERAPY, MASSAGE within the next couple of days.
