That area- as a whole, needs to be burned with fire, nuked from orbit- it's the only way to be sure...
(I lived in that hell-hole for 2 1/2 years, I know whereof I speak. If the dam broke today and wiped Oroville off the face of the planet- I would CHEER.)
The dead girl, her sister and another child were all adopted from an African orphanage, according to the article. How the **** were these two FREAKS able to adopt? I smell the stench of "Oh we gotta get these poor little unchurched pagan babies to a good Christian home!"
Well, of course! These were good Christian folk, at the church every week, homeschoolin' their kids so they didn't get polluted by the evil librul atheist evolutionists runnin' the state schools.... ::spews:: And it's probably just a little relevant that the girl and her sister (both black) were beaten more severely than the couple's own children (presumably all white).
"All I can say is the family is shocked; they are grieving the loss of their daughter and (ask) that people of faith will pray for everybody involved," the defense attorney stated outside of court Thursday.
Excluding the actual events - this statement makes me so angry.
I don't understand how you can beat a child so severely she dies... how anyone could do that - couldn't they notice she and her sister were in trouble? I just don't get it. *shakes head*
Of COURSE they were in trouble. DEMONS were making them mispronounce words. Those same DEMONS were lying to the parents and trying to confuse the parents with things like "crying" and "begging" and "bleeding" and "kidney failure", but like all Christians, they know that the DEMONS are lying and you just have to keep beating the child until all the DEMONS leave.
In short: They were delusional fucks who believed in magic and assumed that anything they didn't like was magic, sent by a wizard, to trick them into thinking it was real. OF COURSE they beat their children to death.
And yet, even despite all of this, the district attorney finds himself having to pussy-foot around fundamentalist Christians:
"[The district attorney] said investigators are researching a possible connection to an Internet Web site set up by "fundamentalist Christian people" that recommends use of the same whip-like implement "as an appropriate tool for biblical chastisement"
but later
"He said it's not clear at this point whether the Schatzes ever visited the Web site in question, which Ramsey stressed "does not endorse hurting or beating a child".
How exactly do you advocate disciplining a child with a rubber tube while saying "don't worry, this won't hurt"? What exactly is the punishment?
Odd side thought, rubber hoses are generally used in "harsh interrogation" as a means of inflicting a lot of pain without doing a lot of structural damage.

The horrible betrayal of that act.
"In so much as you have done it unto the least of these you have done it unto Me."
Did you miss that part of the Book Asshole?!
