BNP member running for London Assembly in 2008:
"I've never understood why so many men have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the feminazi myth machine into believing that rape is such a serious crime ... Rape is simply sex. Women enjoy sex, so rape cannot be such a terrible physical ordeal.

"To suggest that rape, when conducted without violence, is a serious crime is like suggesting that forcefeeding a woman chocolate cake is a heinous offence. A woman would be more inconvenienced by having her handbag snatched.

"The demonisation of rape is all part of the feminazi desire to obtain power and mastery over men. Men who go along with the rape myth are either morons or traitors."
For bonus points, he was asked about the quotes, and had this to say:
"I was trying to make the point that there are two kinds of rape," he said. "There is stranger rape and there is so-called rape by somebody the woman knows"
So.

Any bets on what you find when you look into *his* past?

(EDIT: Article is from 2008. BNP dude in question has been sacked, selected as BNP posterboy.)

FWIW, they rarely if ever have anyone reelected after a term in office, they're virtually always a flash in the pan that get chased off for being incompetent idiots as well.

They normally only pick up votes in 'safe' districts where the main parties don't campaign, so they move in--if another legit party then moves in to challenge both them and the incumbent, then they're normally seen off fairly effectively.

I doubt we'll ever get rid of them, but they're being fought off, effectively, in most areas.
