She is, after all, a politician.

And if you think that the lying from the Palin section of the political spectrum is equal in magnitude and effects to the lying from the Pelosi part of the political spectrum, I have some mortgage-backed securities to sell you.

Of course, and when everyone that's honest in politics, or wants to change things and clean them up, finally does pull out because "they're all the same", the corrupt party will have finally won.

Until then, I'll continue to support decent, honest politicians, of which there are many.

I'm always surprised when Palin lies or says something stupid

Because it means her sentence was coherent enough that people could identify the lie and the stupid. It's a step up

I'm always surprised because Palin lies *so blatantly*, and is always so surprised when called on it.

As far as I can tell, her career in Alaska survived by merit of her not caring *in the slightest* whether anyone believed a single word she said. It plain didn't matter. She'd just go up on stage and be popular.

Fact checking is a completely alien fucking country and those darned pesky media types? Well they aren't Real Americans.

From what I can gather, the Canada Health Act was passed in 1984, which is what ended up covering all physicians visits for Canadians, and prevented doctors from charging user fees. Palin was born in 1964, so, if she had visited Canadian doctors as a child, it would have been under a more US-like system than the current one she objects to now.

Not that I like the woman, or anything that comes out of her mouth, it's just that this would be more defensible than some of her other hypocrisies.

This one is even better. I believe it has all the pertinent details of the above one as well as her saying that her writing of crib notes on her hand was just like God. It even has less Canadians gushing over her too!

I'm gonna guess the moose is the exaggeration. It wasn't actually love.

WTF, over? She was fricking *6*, and it was over 40 years ago. How that relates in *any* way to her opinions today, even remotely, is beyond me.
