Cornell University finds treatment to, with a simple injection, completely stop cancer metastasis in mice.

It won't fix the primary tumour, but it will prevent the cells from spreading by cutting off their little cancerous legs. No, really.

almost cured cancer in mice!

rats next!

the union for dogs and cats complains - how long for us!?

when asked for comment, the society for the advancement of apes and monkeys threw over ripe fruit at us. no wonder they've yet to even get the cure baldness. or those funky blue extremities.

[but seriously, awesome news.]

Excellent :-).

Also, to those rabid anti-Government types, I note towards the end of the article: "This work was funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense."

What's the point of basic research? Stuff like this!

Ironically I just saw a posting from an old landlord about how she has breast cancer but it's ok cause she's going to a homeopathic doctor as western medicine is obsolete. I had to kind of snicker at darwinism in action.
