While I don't necessarily ascribe to the theory that people die in threes, I gotta say, Dio and Frazetta did have some heavy-metal-cheese similarities goin' on.

Rob Zombie and Boris Vallejo better be really careful crossing the street.

Dio would be offended to arrive in Valhalla without a host of well-wishers. I'm just sayin'.

Suck.

Still, anger. Firefox upgraded and removed functionality. I used to control click on your mp3 links and save them as mp3s. Can't do it anymore. It insists on saving them as html files, which the player won't recognize.

The additions to my Weaselking music file will cease. Cease! This is unacceptable.

CTRL-click? What's that?

Left-click means open in current tab. Mid-click means open in new tab. Right-click means context menu - what's CTRL-click supposed to do?

I've got a single-click Mac. Different click options involving keys held during the click.

It sounds like the context menu has changed.

And people WONDER why I mock Apple for including only one mouse button?

It was the bane of my existence until I got used to it. It's like learning another language.

Still, I was sick to death of the problems the old Windows machine was having.

That said, it doesn't excuse Firefox for disabling the Save As function. Bastards.

Firefox has NOT changed the Save-As function, because it hasn't changed for anyone else. Your OS has simply failed to support basic, standard functionality.

Ah, but Firefox used to work. I've not upgraded my OS at all.

Without casting stones in all directions, I really would like to know who changed what and to whom to disable this function. I only suspect Firefox because they have installed updates recently, and Apple has not.

FWIW, I get the same behaviour in Safari 4.0.5 on Mac OS (most recent version) AND in Firefox 3.5.7 on Windows when saving links. When I choose "Save as" in the link context menu (no matter how it is invoked, using right-click or two-finger-click or ctrl-click or prolonged lick)

Methinks LJ has done some changes somewhere in their included scripts.

Yep. I disabled JavaScript in Safari, and could download the linked files as is good and proper.

Never attribute to browsers that can be explained by shitty web pages.
