Gah, it appears I will need to remap my laptop keyboard again.

I have never heard of this, but the comments on the second link make me think I might enjoy it.

It's worth an hour of play, and I think it was worth the $4.50 I paid for it on Steam.

Do you know whatever became of that game you posted a couple years back that was in development at the time? (can't remember the name, description below)

It was kind of a creepy platformer with Tim Burtonesque character design. Everything is in silhouette including your character who is a small boy with glowing white eyes. The levels were B&W one scene was industrial, the other was in a forest and a giant spider nearly impales the boy.

Holy crap! I don't think it was me who posted the original, but wow, that looks neat.

Yeah, I hope the gameplay lives up to the prettiness.

THANK YOU! Wow, good timing, looks like they're showing it at E3.

On a side note, my wife just caught me on to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Triirdqmevo

A guy she knew in high school is the sole graphic designer for the game. Pretty cool!

DAMN! The death animations in that Limbo game are morbid.

It's pretty meh. Lots of it is asshole repetition for no reason other than "oops, wasn't pixel-perfect on that jump", and lots of backtracking. Level 7 in particular expects you to basically do the entire thing about ten times without dying or screwing up.

I found the same, but the "backtracking" is part of the point. You COULD finish the level and get the "bad" ending, but why bother?

(It took me an hour, total, to finish the entire game with BOTH "good" and "bad" endings. I haven't found the third "beige" ending, but I'm not sure I really care. And if I do, the game is there!)
