Yup - green mountain, white river, black death. I definitely get the feeling that some of the dialogue was skewed a little more towards the Tarantino in translation, too.
That was a great review. Entertaining, and insightful enough for me to put in my writing research folder (I have some Steampunk Yakuza on the go elsewhere.)
Favourite line: Don't say gaijin. Say Gaikokujin. It's more polite. Jake's a gaijin.
