Lol...a fellow kitty fosterer told me that she's had to separate orphaned kittens in the past because one would nurse on the other's penis to the point that it became irritated. And this has happened several times. Seems more common among bottle babies than natural fed ones.
When I added a tomcat to what had previously been an all-female group of cats, one of the females got a good look at the tom as he was sleeping, spotted what was clearly a fur snarl and helpfully attempted to nip his tackle off. She failed but I am sure that was not how he wanted to be woken up.
ahahahahahahah that is toooo funny. "well, that doesn't look like it's supposed to be there...CHOMP!"
I guess I'm glad we have a pretty good mix of male/female cats in our household, even if one of our males (icon) is a NEUTERED male who tries to hump my husband like a dog.
People who hand-raise orphanned squirrel often report the same phenomenom and resort to coating the genitals with tea-tree oil to make them taste bad. I suspect that increasing the frequency of the bottle feeding would have been a better approach.
