Whoever did that specific map clearly did their homework. Denmark is listed as "cool", which makes sense, seeing that they were the first country to legalize same-sex marriage.
(Denmark was also the first country to legalize porn, which is also important!)
As a German I can assure you the French have a long-abiding dislike of us, mainly because of the centuries of shared war history we have, with the biggest gripe being Nazi occupation, of course.
