Sadly, this is an accurate representation of our life right now in North Texas of all places...

And in South Texas, too.

That's about right. Except substitute "day" with "hour".

So. Over. The. Snow.

Seriously, warm weather is about the only benefit of living in this part of the country. Take it away and I pretty much just want to hide under the covers until Spring.

That's how I feel, and I live in Indiana. I mean, you'd think I'd be used to it by now.

Snow is so wonderful...

Billions of beautiful delicate little snowflakes, each one born special and entirely unique.

Every single one eventually destined to be dumped into an unending white plain of frigid sameness and then cursed at, kicked off boots and left to melt in a muddy puddle of salty scum.

I can relate to snow.

Country snow is wonderful.

City snow is a black sludge of potential death lurking around every street corner.

Here in Georgia, the whole state pretty much closed down for a week. I had cabin fever so bad.

However, the graph should show the 5-days-in rebound when you discover the top of the snow has solidified and you can sled on it on your belly like a penguin. And the next two days are recovering from hurting your knee.

Ha! I was just telling a friend a few minutes ago about our experience in Seattle of winter of 2008 - 2009, when it snowed every day for like a month: Day 1: "Oooh, pretty! Let's go out and play and take pictures!" Day 15: "Shit, more of that fucking white crap is falling out of the sky."
