What does it say about the state of movie-making these days, that my first response was to race to IMDB just to make sure...?

Frankly I'm shocked this is the first time I've seen this...it seems like such an obvious one.

My grandparents had that game.

You know that each year, more people in Africa are killed by hippos than crocodiles?

That is correct. In fact Hippos kill more people in Afdica than any other animal does.

Our hippos eat approximately 60 pounds of vegetable matter (hay and feed) a day, not 100 pounds. It could be that the grass growing in hippo "lawns" is less nutritious than our hay, thus the discrepancy.

ext_6388: Avon from Blake's 7 fails to show an emotion (Default)

The ability of african snails and mosquitoes to fuck people's shit up is why australia has a type of slug that can fucking poison people to death. Australia always has to one up everyone else on these things.

Australia has no equivalent of the hippo though, but then australian fauna tends to focus on Damage-Over-Time rather than min/maxing some horrible bullet-proof behemoth of vegetarian DPS horror so it's excusable.
