"We can deliver anywhere in the world in a single shipment and then an installation technician, from the UK, completes the assembly on site."

...Wow. I can only imagine how much that costs.

How often do you buy a table like that, though? And how often would you expect it to break having bought something like that?

At least one of those tables is explicitly designed for yachts, so I'm sure the installation cost isn't really a concern for the target market.

Want. Although I have a quibble with the claim that it remains truly round. As it does not. Very close, but not 100%.

I don't know. The expanding leaves have a different outer circumference than the smaller ring. You can see the compressed circumference when the expansion starts.

The petals weren't round in the first configuration - the ring/rim/edge/gusset/whatever the fuck that is is what made it round.

Remove the ring, and you see the small version isn't round. It BECOMES round once it expands ;)

error acknowledged. The border ring is active or so short a time at the beginning of the video that I missed it the first dozen views.

So the radius of the 12 leaves when in the large format are that of a complete proper circle. The loss of the roundness when in the smaller configuration is covered by the border ring.

still want, even though I do not have the money or the space.

My brother-in-law could totally build this. He's got a bitchin' set of tools.

Of course, he would charge me $10K, but hey, he could do it.

THAT's THAT TABLE! My husband and I saw one in New Orleans in 2002, on our honeymoon. No way we could afford it, but we still want it.

Ohhh my.

That GIF quality makes it look like something out of a Myst game. Also, the thing itself looks like it should be in a Myst game. Which makes it ridiculously cool.
