Funny... I am reminded of nations that are so couched in the mindset of a cold war that they're still using it as a rhetorical point against their neighbors two decades after it ended.
How did Cuba 'lose' the war, exactly? They're no worse off than a dozen tinpot dictatorships we support. The only difference is that they have their own bastard instead of one we control.
Well they have significantly lower maternal morbidity and infant mortality rates than the US AND universal healthcare, so OBVIOUSLY Cuba single handedly lost the cold war despite outlasting it. Duh.
So when will the USA finally open up full trade to Cuba? We can't take a "human rights' stand anymore since we sold our soul to China. And will the USA finally be eligible to buy/lease the Gitanomo Bay land?
Raul Castro can't possibly be much different than Fidel, and let's face it, Fidel is the face of Cuba until they put him six feet under. And then he becomes a god.
