Power flickered briefly but we're still online in Kanata North. Which is shocking, given Kanata's history of power failures - normally life here works like this: "A small bird gracefully alighted on a power line today, knocking out power to six Kanata neighbourhoods for four hours."
IKWYM. I got asked if we still had power and actually went into another room to check, in case I'd been distracted and somehow hadn't noticed the UPS beeping. Kanata does not get power when other places don't have it, damm't!
