I figured it was a trap, but in the end you have to stick with educated guesses. Once you start thinking it might be a trap, you might as well flip a coin.

I actually didn't know the answer. It was sent to me as a "guess the state" candidate and I guessed Ohio on the theory that nobody would send me a Florida story involving pythons as a "guess the state".
Apparently I'm the only person who thinks an odd number of meta-levels deep on this one.
Heh. I picked FL because... well, Ohio's weird stories tend to be more along the lines of "Wait, people are still being all Kinder, Küche, Kirche? Dammit we're all doomed."
