Yeah, we don't need to dyslexics or foreigns on our internets.

I think that was pretty much tongue in cheek...

...and current Captcha's already do it. :/ I have had times when I need to pound 'new Captcha' repeatedly, because it keeps spitting something with hanzi/kanji or something outside of FI-Latin-1 keyboard and I just can't be arsed to try and hunt down the alt-code for the letter...

Oh, I know, it's just that casual elitism projects like these by "designers" frequently bug me.

... wait, there are non-latin letters popping up?

I'm (basically mildly) dyslexic, so I thought I just had trouble with those things because everythings all melty.

I fell SO MUCH BETTER.

Indeed! While my keyboard has things like å, ä and ö right there, it takes couple of keystrokes to produce stuff like á, è, ü, î... and then it gets tricky with wild stuff like ø, æ and þ.

Not to mention hanzi/kanji, katakana, hiragana etc.

Heck, I've seen even mathematical notation crop up!

Captchas are really infuriating when they misfire like that -- sometimes I am absolutely certain that I have gotten the characters right, but because of some fucked up encoding or such it rejects perfectly good letters (see: å, ä, ö -- those are pretty much umlauts everywhere but Scandic/Baltic areas, where they are actual letters on their own, with a corresponding sound unrelated to umlaut-ish noises; I do suspect that it is some kind of silly conflict between different encodings and browser being unable to decide which one should be used, ISO-8859-15 or UTF-8).
