Aye. After I finished watching it, I think I described it as a 'generic superhero movie' — it looks sufficiently cool, it stays sufficiently loyal to the subject matter, it makes you care sufficiently about its main characters, it is sufficiently exciting/engaging.

Compare it to Thor, which in may ways was better, but which failed at making me care about its characters, and thus I found a rather poorer film.
