Ah, the famous Kitty Nudge you need to make the beast move indoors. Since us mere mortals cannot comprehend why the kitty must hover by the open door. It is a cat thing. We cannot understand. And we disrupt something by gently nudging the cat to move inside.

Was the cat meditating there because he is on the edge of bringing universal peace and perpetual joy? And thanks to our impatient nudges, it will never be and the process must be started anew.

I fix that by only giving them five seconds to go in or out. They learn pretty quick that if they don't want to stay outside for another half hour they move their own butt.
