Steve Jobs died, if you managed to avoid all media. Lizard people posted a repudiation of Ron Paul on the grounds that he does not represent them. They isolated the genetic code of the Black Plague from the teeth of victims buried in a mass grave, which is kinda neat, and someone proposed that a weird array of ichthyosaur vertebrae was an attempt at a self-portrait by a giant Paleolithic kraken, whereupon the other paleontologists repudiated him on the grounds that he does not represent them.
