It was a good speech. It's a shame that transgender people got left out of the news coverage there, though. I was pleased to hear Clinton including them in her speech, rather than just being an LGbt afterthought.

The only explicit mention of trans people, other than in explaining what the acronym means, was, "It is a violation of human rights when lesbian or transgendered women are subjected to so-called corrective rape" (cos of COURSE no trans people other than women get subjected to "corrective" rape).
It's kind of depressing really, when I see even those small concessions as an improvement above my expectations. You're right, more could and should have been done and said.
