Sure. Do *you* want to type it in every day (and every time you leave your computer idle for more than 15 minutes), ensuring that you always have the exactly right number of characters, no more, no less?

Oh, and are you sure the buffer has enough room to put all those characters in?

No idea on the buffer size. Or the file that stores the password for that matter.

Windows passwords can be up to 128 characters. It would have been 256, but someone unnnamed forgot that unicode characters (in that encoding; shut up, pedants) are words, not bytes.
