You know, I've seen plenty of guys kissing, in both photos and physical reality. And have no problem with it. So why don't you ditch the negative attitude and enjoy the happy people.
Presumably if a gay man had won the raffle for the first kiss, that's what we'd be looking at. Or are you saying they wouldn't have had a story about it if that had been the case?
With attacks on the Constitution and the rule of law coming from every direction at an ever increasing rate, some would consider this a danger. I think the Republic is being done considerably less harm by this than by those who would oppose it.
In the vein of "look what else is in the photo," I notice there are two guys in the upper left corner who are looking down and thinking, "Dude, that's so hot."
