I'm a bit disappointed that that The Slow Mo Guys on YouTube don't have any any simple dropped glass, though they have plenty of excellent footage of what they did capture. :)

I'd like to see this slowed down a little more. The break where the shockwaves from the base and the bowl meet fascinates me.

I've seen videos slowed down like you describe, and the glass does actually wobble slightly as the shockwave passes through it.
