When I was a kid, Sesame Street did all sorts of these kinds of things, and it always fascinated the fuck outta me. Still does.

I guess this was a delete scene from Eraserhead? (obscure movie reference: the movie had scenes of a pencil making machine)

As a kid I enjoyed "Hot Dog" which showed how things were made, with great music!

Not long ago was "Made In America" celebrating the few remaining things actually manufactured in America. And "Dirty Jobs" which are often in foundries and factories.
